About the Role:
Chosen Pediatrics Care in Magnolia, TX is looking for a passionate and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join their growing team! Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and providers with pediatric patient examinations and procedures
- Record patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints accurately in the EMR system
- Administer vaccinations, injections, and medications as directed by the provider
- Perform routine clinical tasks including phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing
- Prepare and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms between patient visits
- Communicate with patients and families regarding care instructions, appointments, and follow-ups
- Support front and back office operations to ensure smooth patient flow
Requirements:
- Current CMA certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or equivalent) required
- Previous experience in a pediatric or primary care clinical setting preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software
- Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pediatric patients and families
- Compassionate, patient, and calm demeanor in a busy clinical environment
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
